ECMM supports Working Groups on specific topics in medical mycology
Working Group on the epidemiology of candidaemia
Members in seven European countries participated in a collaborative surveillance of candidaemia
in 106 hospitals. The results were published in Tortorano et al., European Journal of Clinical
Microbiology and Infectious Disease 2004; 23: 317–322. Many national surveys were published
with additional detail — see the above reference for citations.
